RDF

Assalamualaikum..Hello everyone..
RDF stands for Resource Description Framework. RDF is a general framework for how to describe any Internet resource on the web such as a Web site and its content. RDF provides a model for data, and syntax. RDF is designed to be read and understood by computers. RDF is not designed for being displayed to people. This is example of use RDF for describing information about web pages, such as content, author, created and modified date. You may have heard that RDF consists of a triple: subject, predicate and object.

For example:
Statement: “The author of http://www.w3school.com is Jan Egil Refsne ”.

Subject: http://www.w3school.com
Predicate: author
Object: Jan Egil Refsne

Semantic Web

Assalamualaikum everyone..

Today I’m continuing with other topic that discussed in my class what is Semantic Web?

The Semantic Web is a web that is able to describe things in a way that computers can understand and it will enable users to search the data same meanings or equivalent to the meaningsThe Semantic Web is focused on machines to allow machines to understand the meaning. In semantic web there is not only search for documents that contain data but also the meaning of the data. There is a lot of data we all use every day, for example if we type “bicycle, “basikal” or “gerek”. The output can be “bicycle, “basikal” or “gerek”.

..UDDI..

UDDI (Universal Description Discovery and Integration) is often called the "yellow pages" for Web services. There are having three components in UUDI which are Yellow pages, White pages and Green pages. Yellow page is the protocol for discovering Web Services on the internet. White page for describing the business. Green page for describing how to access the service. UDDI stores information that helps clients select and use a web service. UDDI allows businesses to list themselves by name, product, location, or the Web services they offer. UDDI are directory service where businesses can register and search for Web services, directory for storing information about web services, directory of web service interfaces described by WSDL.

UDDI Issues..
  • Code reuse
  • Ongoing maintenance
  • Host problem
  • Security problem

AJAX, JSON and JQUERY

Assalamualaikum everyone..Hai.. Today I’m continuing with other topic that discussed in my class What are the AJAX, JSON and JQUERY?

AJAX
JSON
JQUERY
  • Asynchronous calls — AJAX allows for the ability to make asynchronous calls to a web server. This allows the client browser to avoid the users waiting for all data to arrive.
  • Minimal data transfer — by not performing a full post back and sending all form data to the server and quicker operations occur.

  • JSON is short for JavaScript Object Notation
  • JSON is a way to store information and easy to access.
  • JSON is more compact and can be easily loaded in JavaScript.
  • JSON very useful when developing a web application where fast
  • Easier to handle with JavaScript if you need something for a web application.

  • The purpose of jQuery is to make it much easier to use JavaScript on your website.
  • You are able to use specific function like datepicker, auto completion, and etc.

Ajax - change background color
jQuery - datepicker

~URI~

  • URI stands for Uniform Resource Identifier. URI is a string of characters used to identifier a name or location a resource on the Internet. URI have two types which is URL and URN.

  • URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator. There are 4 parts in a URL:

1.       Protocol: The application-level protocol used by the client and server (e.g. HTTP, FTP, and   telnet).

2.       Hostname: The DNS domain name (e.g. www.test101.com) or IP address (e.g. 192.128.1.2) of the server.

3.       Port: The TCP port number that the server is listening for incoming requests from the clients.

4.       Path-and-file-name: The name and location of the requested resource.

         Example of URL,

Common schemes: http, https, ftp, mailto, file, rtsp

  • URN stands for Uniform Resource Name. URN is an Internet resource with a name.

           Example of URL,
urn:def://blue_laser

Web Browser

Assalamualaikum everyone..Hai..

Did you know we have many choices to use the web browser nowadays? To access the Web you need a Web Browser. There are several web browsers which are Internet Explorer, Safari, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and etc. Which one did you prefer to use?

Although many web browser that can I use but I prefer using the Google Chrome. I choose Google chrome because it has a very simple design, which allows us to browse faster than other web browser.Google Chrome is user friendly, interactive and interesting. I try using Internet Explorer, but it slow and not user friendly. So, which one did you prefer to use??

In Google Chrome, I can get anywhere on the Web with one box. The address bar that sits at the top of the normal Google Chrome window simplifies your Internet experience by doubling as a search box. You can also use it to bookmark websites.

The difference internet and World Wide Web (www)

Assalamualaikum everyone..

Hai..How are you today? I hope you have nice day today.. I want to share with you what the difference Internet and World Wide Web (www)?

Internet
World Wide Web (www)
o   Internet is a global system.

o   Any computer can communicate with any other computer as long as they are both connected to the Internet.

o   Internet use protocol (TCP/IP) to communicate each other.
o   The World Wide Web or simply Web is a way of accessing information over the medium of the Internet.

o   The Web uses the HTTP protocol is only one of the languages spoken over the Internet to transmit data.

o   Web services, which use HTTP to allow applications to communicate in order to exchange business and use the Web to share information.

o   The Web also utilizes browsers  such as Internet Explorer , Firefox, Opera and Google chrome to accessWeb pages that are linked to each other via hyperlinks.

o   Web documents also contain graphics, sounds, text and video.

o   With the establishment of the World Wide Web (WWW) computer used a Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) for composing documents.

Servlet Processing

How the Servlet Process??

Assalamualaikum..
Hai everyone?? Alhamdulillah, we meet once again.. How about your study leave?  Today I’m continuing with other topic is how the servlet process?

..Servlet Processing..

This process happen when the client (Web browser) send a request to the J2EE Application Server (Web server), the web server passes the request to servlet container. The servlet container checks whether the request is exits or not. If exits then the servlet container delegate the request to the web server else the servlet container sends to web server that they do not meet what the request wants. After that the web server sends back to response.

..Cookies vs Session..

..Session and Cookie..

 Assalamualaikum..

Hi everyone, I’m back with new Entry..Smiley ..I want to share about what is differences between session and cookie..

Cookie
Session
  • A cookie can keep information in the user's         browser until the user deleted.

  • If a person has a login and password, this can be set as a cookie in their browser so they do not have to re-login to your website every time they visit.

  • Sessions are not same with a cookie.

  •  They work instead like a token allowing access and passing information while the user has their browser open.

  •  The problem with sessions is that when you close your browser you also lose the session.

  • So, if you had a site requiring a login, this could not be saved as a cookie, and the user would be forced to re-login every time they visit.

This is example of cookie and session
